Position Overview

Designer utilizes construction documents, sketches, and/or details provided by the sales department to produce AutoCAD drawings for a variety of forming and shoring systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Produce assembly drawings for all assigned projects in accordance with the established company drafting standards• Perform minor design checks to determine adequacy of forming and/or shoring systems• Produce material take-off and generate shipping lists as required• Create and maintain project files in accordance with company standards in order to adequately document design procedures and logistics

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Familiarity with structural analysis software, AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel Knowledge Required• Able to read and interpret Architectural and Structural Drawings• Ability to quickly analyze a problem and develop an effective response• Ability to work effectively in a team setting among engineers, designers and detailers• Minimum of five years of forming and shoring experience required

Education Requirements

• Associates degree is required
